🪲About

" We're not so different, you and I. That scares you... doesn't it? "

- Bento

In this version of events Bento Geuse (refered to as "Beetlejuice" cause foreigners couldn't spell his name right to save their lives lol ) was murdered by his wife, Dolores, who sacrificed him to the beings below by stealing and eating his heart as a means to become immortal. after that she placed a curse on his soul, "whoever summons my dear beloved, shall find their way at death's door" turning him into basically a "bad luck charm" whoever says his name 3 times in a row is now doomed to die in an undetermined number of days making him unable to form a connection with anyone, basically keeping him lonely for eternity. He ended up founding a way to come back and in a fit of rage and heartbreak(haha) striked her body with an axe multiple times, soon immortality didn't seem like a gift to her anymore, in the end he bit her finger off, stole her wedding ring, did the same to his and in that crazy mental state, ate both.

He deeply regrets what he did to her though and wishes he could go back, not in a million years would he have chopped the love of his life, but alas he was consumed by sorrow and fury.

Centuries went by and after an increase in deaths occurred because of his curse, Neitherworld authorities managed to restrain him and trapped his spirit in his old corpse, beneath the ground, who was surpisingly and weirdly not as decomposed as one would think. Bento was forced to "relive" his worst moments, nightmare after nightmare trapped inside his own mind. after 30 years of torment he felt something digging the dirt on top of him only to see a depressed looking girl who started searching through his remains for something to steal, until she found the wedding rings that once belonged to him and his wife, placing them in her pocket before leaving him there to rot. he wasn't happy about that in the slightest. he won't forget her face so soon
